Harry Blathwayt

Harry Blathwayt

Since first being elected here in 2019, has built a reputation as a fearsome campaigner. Serves on the Broads Authority, fighting to protect and preserve our precious national park. A long-term resident of Hickling who has consistently put the best interests of residents ahead of party politics.

Harry: a true community champion in your corner

During these difficult times, you deserve a true community champion fighting your corner. That’s exactly what Harry is. As your next councillor, Harry will prioritise the issues that matter most to you and your neighbours.

Harry was born in Norfolk and has lived here all his life.

He has represented Hickling ward on the NN District Council since 2019 where he has been involved with Coastal Protection, Broads Authority navigation, futures, heritage, drainage, and planning.

In the next 4 years, he will make it his mission to hold polluters to account, to keep us safe from flood, and to preserve our piece of Norfolk.

Harry’s priorities:

  • Make our roads safer for all
  • Build more affordable homes
  • Protect our environment

Harry will continue to lobby for safer roads, including 20mph speed limits in our villages and outside schools.

Harry will campaign alongside the community to protect and enhance our environment.

Harry will fight to ensure more truly affordable homes are built, so people aren’t priced out of their community.
