Our focus is on moving North Norfolk forward, and ensuring every resident and every community secures a fairer deal. First and foremost, that means fighting residents’ corners and championing our communities on North Norfolk District Council and Norfolk County Council, while holding Conservatives to account for their actions.
It also means re-taking the parliamentary seat in North Norfolk, and ensuring tireless campaigner Steffan Aquarone is standing up for our shared values in Parliament.
Whether it’s in Cromer or Westminster, we’re working hard -- alongside residents just like you -- to build a new kind of politics; one that puts the interests of local families ahead of party politics and fights for what’s right for North Norfolk.
We are delighted to announce that Councillor Andrew Bond has been appointed Deputy Mayor of Peterborough City Council, serving alongside the new Mayor, Councillor Chris Harper.
Southwark’s planning committee this week approved 152 affordable homes reserved for key workers – including for nurses, police officers, and firefighters – whilst also securing some concessions for local residents to mitigate impacts.
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron has met with the Minister for Nature, Mary Creagh, to urge the Government to take stronger action against the owners of the Flusco waste tip in Newbiggin near Penrith.
