Our focus is on moving North Norfolk forward, and ensuring every resident and every community secures a fairer deal. First and foremost, that means fighting residents’ corners and championing our communities on North Norfolk District Council and Norfolk County Council, while holding Conservatives to account for their actions.
It also means re-taking the parliamentary seat in North Norfolk, and ensuring tireless campaigner Steffan Aquarone is standing up for our shared values in Parliament.
Whether it’s in Cromer or Westminster, we’re working hard -- alongside residents just like you -- to build a new kind of politics; one that puts the interests of local families ahead of party politics and fights for what’s right for North Norfolk.
Responding to the the Defence Secretary announcing the Government is deploying extra troops to the Middle East, as well as the Sky Sabre air defence missile system, Liberal Democrat Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Calum Miller MP said:
Liberal Democrat councillors in Borough & Bankside and St George’s have called on Southwark Council to reject new plans that would slash affordable housing at the Borough Triangle development to just 10%.
Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton has today called for the Scottish Parliament to be recalled to address the crisis engulfing Scotland’s ferry network as communities in Argyll & Bute and up and down the west coast face yet more upheaval.
